Hi everyone,

You may have noticed me mentioning on Facebook that I’ve been working on adding a new feature to the blog. So I’m very excited to announce the launch of the Fortius Training “Ask the Expert” video interview series. The aim of this series is to interview a different practitioner involved in youth development each week. These may be different experts such as technical coaches, sport scientists, strength and conditioning coaches, or researchers directly involved in youth sport.

In this first episode of the “Ask the Expert” series, I interview Lewie Lett – coach of the British University Beach Volleyball Team, founder of “Playground to Performance” and former coach of GB Beach Volleyball pairing Chris Gregory and Jake Sheaf.

Amongst other things we discuss Lewie’s coaching background, his coaching philosophy and the growth mindset, his business “Playground to Performance” as well as his coaching influences, successes and challenges. He also gives a great recommendation for reading material and some practical advice for sport coaches.

As always, please enjoy, like, comment and share as you see fit! Keep up to date with the latest content via our Facebook page here.
